INSTALLATION

• Ensure the surface where the boards will be installed is clean, dry, and structurally sound.
• Measure and mark the area where the boards will be installed using a measuring tape and chalk line.
• Use a circular saw or jigsaw with a carbide-tipped blade to cut the Cemgold boards to the desired size. Always wear safety goggles and a dust mask while cutting to protect against dust and debris.
• Before securing the boards, dry fit them in place to ensure they fit correctly. Make any necessary adjustments.
• Position the board against the wall or surface. Use a level to ensure it is straight.
• Secure the board using fibre cement screws, placing them approximately 200-300 mm apart along the edges and in the field of the board. Ensure the screws are flush with the surface but not overdriven.
• If required, apply caulk or sealant to the joints between the boards to prevent moisture infiltration and improve aesthetics.
• Once all boards are installed, you can finish the surface as desired, such as painting, tiling, or applying other finishes.
