GypLyner UNIVERSAL ceiling lining

GypLyner UNIVERSAL ceiling lining is a ceiling lining system widely applicable to all types of residential and commercial buildings, for both new-build and refurbishment internal lining projects. The system offers sound insulation for both airborne and impact noise, fire resistance of 30 to 90 minutes, it can be easily installed, allowing accommodation for small service routings, suitable for timber joists and concrete soffits.

Certain consideration should be taken into account upon installation, including:

• fixing brackets position shall determine the ceiling cavity depth, whereas ceiling leveling can be easily adjusted by the fixing brackets in concrete soffits;
• the cavity barriers if necessary can be formed by Gyproc FireLine or Glasroc F MULTIBOARD fixed to the metal framing which is then fixed to the structure;
• proprietary fixings may be necessary for hollow background fixing;
• in order of maintaining sound and thermal performance of the ceiling structure, installation of access panels or light fittings must be properly planed and considered;
• lightweight fixtures such as single lights can be installed directly into the channels while heavier ones may require additional suspension.
