Millboard Envello Cladding Horizontal Starter Trim - Aluminium J Profile is an aluminium J-shaped profile used to start the cladding at the bottom when it’s installed horizontally. These trims combine aesthetics and performance, providing a unique, durable, and modern outdoor experience suitable for both commercial and domestic applications. They are fixed with perforated closures and 20mm stainless steel screws. The bottom edge of the board is lower than the bottom of the Starter Trim, so it won't be seen.

• Suitable for low-rise residential and some commercial properties,
• Require minimal maintenance.

• It is important that these trims are installed level so that the boards running off these trims are level.
• If needed, install a suitable backing board or battens to provide a secure fixing point.
• Start at the bottom of the cladding area where you want to begin.
• Align the Envello Horizontal Starter Trims horizontally along the base, ensuring they are level.
• Use stainless steel screws (usually 20mm) to secure the trims to the backing board or battens.
• Fix the trims through the pre-drilled holes in the trim profile.
• Space the fixings appropriately to ensure stability.
• Once the starter trims are securely fixed, proceed with installing the Envello cladding boards above them.
• Follow the manufacturer’s guidelines for spacing, fixing, and alignment.
