DuPont Tyvek Tape

DuPont Tyvek Tape is a single-sided tape made from UV resistant polypropylene film covered with a permanent acrylic adhesive, offering great adhesion and designed for making seals and in DuPont Tyvek weather barriers. Its main purpose is to improve air-tightness and water-tightness of wall systems by creating a continuous, sealed and seamless building envelope. It is very easy to use, and offers durable protection from air filtration and water intrusion in the wall construction. By reducing air and water leakage, it improves the overall energy efficiency of the building by reducing heating and cooling costs, in both residential and commercial properties.

APPLICATION

DuPont Tyvek Tape is used for making seals and in DuPont Tyvek weather barriers, and for optimal performance should be combined with DuPont Tyvek Commercial Wrap, DuPont Tyvek Stucco Wrap, DuPont Flashing Systems and DuPont Tyvek Wrap Caps.
