DuPont Airguard Control Roll 1.5m x 50m
DuPont AirGuard Control Roll is a specially designed 1,5 x 50m air leakage barrier and vapour control layer (AVCL) with the main purpose of improving thermal performance of wall, roofs and ceilings by controlling and reducing air leakage and mostly convective heat loss through poorly insulated constructions. The product is working as a internal barrier from air movement and moisture and damp penetration within residential buildings, thus prolonging the life span of the building and improving habitable conditions. It is able to provide an additional layer for installed insulation by minimizing the risk of condensation moving through an insulation material and decreasing its insulation power. The barrier is installed on the warm side of the building and should be combined with the proper underlay installed on the outer side of the surface. The product is very lightweight yet resistant and strong, easily transported and installed, with a transparent surface that eases the installation of insulation.
