Ceresit CT79 Impactum Elastomeric Render 1.5 mm grain (stone texture)
1.5mm grain Ceresit CT79 Impactum Elastomeric Render is a high-performance, flexible, and breathable render that provides exceptional adhesion and durability for a wide range of substrates. This render is specifically designed for use in areas with high movement and vibration, making it an ideal solution for facades, balconies, and other exterior surfaces that are subject to thermal expansion and contraction. The Ceresit CT79 Impactum Elastomeric Render is a polymer-modified, cement-based render that is easy to apply and provides excellent workability. Its unique formula contains elastomeric polymers that give it exceptional flexibility and elasticity, allowing it to move with the substrate and resist cracking and flaking. The render is also highly breathable, allowing moisture to escape from the substrate and preventing the buildup of dampness and mould.
Ceresit CT79 Impactum Elastomeric Render has exceptional adhesion to a wide range of substrates, including concrete, brick, block, and previously painted surfaces. This makes it an ideal solution for renovation projects, where the existing substrate may not be in perfect condition. The render is also easy to apply, with a smooth and even consistency that ensures a high-quality finish. It is also highly durable, with a long service life and excellent resistance to weathering, ageing, and UV radiation. It is also resistant to impact, abrasion, and chemicals, making it an ideal solution for high-traffic areas and industrial applications.

How to apply
- Ensure that the surface is clean, dry, and free from loose particles, oil, grease, or any other contaminants.
- Remove any old render or paint that is loose or flaking.
- Apply a coat of Ceresit CT16 Primer to the surface using a brush or roller. This will improve the adhesion of the render and ensure a high-quality finish.
- Allow the primer to dry for the recommended time.
- Mix the Ceresit CT79 Impactum Elastomeric Render in a clean container using a drill and paddle mixer. Follow the manufacturer's instructions for the correct water-to-render ratio.
- Apply the render to the surface using a steel trowel or rendering machine.
- Work the render into the surface, ensuring that it is evenly applied and that there are no air pockets or voids.
- Use a wooden float to smooth the surface of the render, ensuring that it is level and free from trowel marks.
- Allow the render to dry for the recommended time.
- If a second coat is required, apply it in the same way as the first coat.
- Ensure that the second coat is applied before the first coat has fully dried.
- Use a sponge float or trowel to create the desired finish on the surface of the render.
- Allow the render to dry for the recommended time before painting or applying any other finishes.
It's important to follow the manufacturer's instructions for the specific product you are using, as the application process may vary depending on the product and the surface you are working with. Always use appropriate personal protective equipment, such as gloves and safety glasses, when handling and applying the render.
