Ceresit CT76 Solar Protect Silicon-Elastomer Render 1.5mm Grain (stone texture) - 25Kg
Ceresit CT76 Solar Protect is a high-performance, silicon-elastomer-based render designed for use as a facade finish in Ceresit Ceretherm systems for the thermal insulation of external walls. Formulated with a 1.5mm grain size, this render creates a subtle stone-like texture that adds visual interest and depth to the building's exterior. Recommended for use in complex Ceresit Ceretherm systems, Ceresit CT76 Solar Protect is an ideal choice for the thermal insulation of external walls, particularly when paired with polystyrene boards or mineral wool. Its silicon-elastomer composition provides excellent weather resistance, flexibility, and durability, ensuring the facade remains protected from the elements for years to come.
Its solar reflective properties help to reduce heat absorption, contributing to improved energy efficiency and a more comfortable indoor climate. Additionally, the render's high water vapour permeability allows the wall to "breathe," preventing the buildup of moisture and the associated risk of mould or mildew. Ceresit CT76 Solar Protect is easy to apply and can be trowelled or sprayed onto the surface, ensuring a smooth, even finish. Its versatility and performance make it an excellent choice for a wide range of residential and commercial projects, from new builds to renovation work.
Assumed consumption: from 2.1 to 2.5 kg/m2, depending on way render is applied, the skill of the renderer and substrate underneath.

APPLICATION
- For making thin-layer renders on external insulation systems, concrete substrates, traditional plasters, gypsum substrates and chipboards, gypsum cardboards, etc.
How to use
- Ensure the substrate is clean, dry, and free from any loose particles or contaminants.
- Apply a primer coat of Ceresit CT16 or CT17 to the surface, as recommended by the manufacturer.
- Mix the Ceresit CT76 render thoroughly with a low-speed electric mixer until a smooth, homogeneous consistency is achieved.
- Apply the render to the surface using a stainless steel trowel, spreading it evenly to the desired thickness of 1.5mm.
- Once the initial layer has been applied, use a plastic float or sponge float to create the desired stone-like texture.
- The render benefits from Ceresit's double dry technology, which enhances the drying and curing process.
- Allow the render to dry for at least 24 hours before applying any subsequent coatings or finishes.
- Ensure adequate ventilation and avoid direct sunlight or strong winds during the drying period.
- The render will fully cure within 2-3 days, depending on environmental conditions.
