70mm Gyproc Thermaline Super Insulated Plasterboard (60.5mm Insulation + 9.5mm WallBoard)
70 mm Gyproc Thermaline Super Insulated Plasterboard is a highly efficient rigid WallBoard board bonded to phenolic foam insulant offering vapour control and fire resistance. It is also highly environmentally friendly, manufactured without harmful agents such as CFC and HCFC. The Gyproc WallBoard has resilient paper liners that firmly hold the the aerated gypsum core, which is incombustible when exposed to high temperatures. Includes a vapour control layer as standard to reduce risk of condensation.
- DriLyner MF is especially used for facilitating Gyproc plasterboards (or TheramLine laminates) fixing to the Gypframe channels (whereas this is done by using especially designed sealants and accessories in order of minimizing the risk of thermal bridges appearing), which have been previously bonded to the wall surface;
- DriLiner RF can provide substantial insulation, reaching the U values of down to 0,21, particularly used for fixing the boards onto solid walls, including plaster wall when conducting a remodeling project, when special Gyproc sealants or blobs are used;
- DriLiner SI uses the same advantages as the Basic system, but can achieve even better U values of 0,21. The system includes the use of gypsum adhesive dabs so that the boards can be fixed directly onto the wall, while improved insulation values are achieved by adding Gyproc TriLine, being a sound insulating laminate;
- DriLyner TL uses adhesive dabs for direct bonding of the board onto the wall, in combination with the Gyproc TriLine laminate, for improved sound insulation, achieving U values of down to 0,22., providing early room comfort conditions.
- GypLyner IWL, providing fire protection and fire resistance, used for upgrading both thermal and sound performance of masonry walls, designed to correspond to BS 5234 standards. The system can increase the sound and thermal insulation of both new or existing walls, only if the elements are well fitted to the background, junctions properly sealed and water penetration and damp issues taken care of by applying recommended measures;
- GypLyner UNIVERSAL wall lining can be made to meet various requirements, both thermal and acoustic, especially applicable in refurbishment projects where the quality of the surface needs to be improved and the cavity accommodated to certain services such as water pipes. In order of meeting the requirements set by the applicable Building Regulations, proper cavity barriers should be installed and in order of improving the thermal performance of the surface, the cavity needs to be tightly sealed;
- Loadbearing timber joists floors and ceilings, a traditional method widely used in floor and roof applications, whenever fire and acoustic insulation requirements set by the applicable regulations must be met in both commercial and residential settings. In order of minimizing the possibility of ceiling finishing defects and providing needed strength and robustness, BS 5268: Part 2 should be consulted. Cavity fire and vapor barriers may be required by the applicable regulation. For substantial sound performance, all gaps at floor and ceiling perimeters should be sealed, which can be done by using Gyproc Sealant.
APPLICATION
Gyproc Thermaline Plus Insulated Plasterboard is especially applicable to room-in-the-roof and refurbishment applications, wherever improving thermal performance is of relevance.
