ARC Wired Tile Batten Barrier is a non-combustible wire reinforced rockfibre mineral wool fire barrier that stops fire between roof covering and underside of tiles. It is used as a fire, thermal and acoustic break at the party wall between the roof tiles and roof membrane. In conjunction with the ARC Party Wall System would create a complete fire break at the separating wall between two dwellings. Correct installation will achieve compliance with NHBC Standards 7.2.16.
CHARACTERISTICS- Easy to install,

- Complies with NHBC 2017 7.2.16.
- Position the ARC Wired Tile Batten Barrier at the party wall line above the roof covering and before the tile battens are fitted.
- Use a knife to cut through the insulation of the ARC Wired Tile Batten Barrier in line with the leading (top) edge of the tile batten.
- Do not cut through the wire mesh.

- Work the material so that no gaps will remain once the tiles have been fitted.
- ARC Wired Tile Batten Barrier is manufactured using rockfibre mineral wool which achieves a fire classification of Euroclass A1 as defined in BS EN 13501-1, and conforms to BS EN 13162 and EN16001 Energy Management Systems.
