Ancon 25/14 Stainless Steel Channel - 2700mm Length is used to fix an outer leaf of brickwork through any kind of insulation to a steel frame structure or to a concrete wall.
Self-drilling high-thread screws are used to drill through the rigid insulation on to a steel frame. The maximum thickness of insulation is 180mm. An Ancon Compression Sleeve (the same depth as the insulation) should be used around the fixing screws to provide the necessary support. The maximum combined insulation and backing board thickness is 220mm. Ancon high-thread self-drilling fixing screws (HTSS screws) are used fix the channel on to a steel frame, chosen depending on the insulation width. Sold separately.
The Ancon 25/14 Stainless Steel Channel is fixed by screws through the insulation and a stainless steel compression sleeve into a pilot hole in the concrete wall. The maximum insulation depth is 270mm. Ancon Concrete Fixing Screws (CFS screws) are used to fix insulation to the concrete wall, chosen depending on the insulation width. Sold separately.
Ancon SD25 and Teplo-BF-CT-25 Wall Ties are used to fix the external brickwork leaf to the channel.
