Isocheck Isowave Cavity Barrier 33 is an acoustic plasterboard used for reducing excessive flanking sound transmission through underfloor and above ceiling cavities, the voids beneath and above the partition. Isocheck Acoustic Cavity Barrier consists of a single or double layer of 10mm semi-rigid acoustic foam bonded to 12.5mm high density, square edged fibre-reinforced gypsum board. Isocheck Isowave Acoustic Cavity Barrier is suitable to be used in all types of ceiling and floor void spaces including raised access flooring and suspended ceilings.

APPLICATION
Isocheck Isowave Cavity Barrier 33 is applicable in refurbishment, conversion and new build applications, where there is void above the ceiling or under the floor.
INSTALLATION
- Cut to shape using a hand saw or a circular saw,
- Fix Acoustic Cavity Barrier to timber battens or angle brackets,
- Ensure all gaps are sealed using Isocheck Acoustic FR Sealant or equal.
CERTIFICATION
The product is in compliance with:
- Approved Document E of the Building Regulations,
- Acoustic foam core is measured to BS 4443 and BS EN ISO 845:2009,
- EU Regulation No 2037/2000 for ozone depletion.
