12mm Kemwell MP-1000 Multipurpose Calcium Silicate Board - 2 Hour Fire Resistance

12mm Kemwell MP-1000 is a strong, lightweight, versatile, Class 0, multipurpose building board suitable for use in a wide range of internal partitions, ceilings for use in many fire applications. The board is off-white in colour and has a smooth finish on one side with a sanded reverse face. Kemwell MP-1000 provides up to 120 minutes fire resistance. Kemwell MP-1000 retains its excellent dimensional stability even in damp and humid conditions and can be installed at an early stage in the construction programme, before the building is weather tight. It can also be used for semi-exposed applications and can be left undecorated. Kemwell MP-1000 provides an economic solution for both acoustic ceilings and partitions. A perforated panel when used with mineral wool providing an excellent sound absorption material.

• No special equipment is required for cutting or drilling. It is recommended that cutting of the MP-1000 boards be carried out in well ventilated situations or the wearing of suitable dust masks to reduce the hazard of nuisance dust production, during the cutting or drilling process MP-1000 boards may be flat head nailed or pilot drilled then screwed.
• MP-1000 boards due to their high suction should be first sealed prior to applying paints, plasters, or wallpapers.
