100mm Wraptite Tape - 50m - External Air Barrier Tape

100mm Wraptite Tape is an external air barrier that solves the problem of reliably achieving air tightness in buildings. It is self-adhered to ensure a consistent airtight external seal. Wraptite tape is highly vapour permeable, yet airtight. Its high vapour permeability allows damp sheathing to dry quickly and moisture vapour to escape. This ensures good indoor air quality and reduces the likelihood of mould, mildew, condensation, timber distortion and metal corrosion.

INSTALLATION

• Ensure surfaces are clean and dry prior to installing the tape,
• Tape should be cut to length before removing the release liner.
• Try not to handle the adhesive side where possible.
• Remove liner as tape is being installed directly onto substrate.
• Carefully smooth the tape with particular attention to the sealing of the outer edges to ensure airtightness adhesion.
